Commitment Against Child Exploitation (ESNNA)
At Mega Travel Machupicchu, as a responsible travel agency based in Cusco, we strictly condemn all forms of abuse and exploitation against children and adolescents. We stand firmly against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) within the tourism sector.
We reject any act that violates the rights of minors, specifically those involving sexual or erotic purposes in exchange for any material benefit or conditioning.
What Is ESNNA?
ESNNA stands for the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents. It refers to the violation of a minor’s fundamental rights by exposing them to sexual acts to satisfy the interests or desires of third parties. This often involves coercion or the exchange of money, goods, or favors. This includes sexual proposals, harassment via technology, and the dissemination of illegal content involving minors.
Our Stance Against Child Sex Tourism
Child sex tourism involves the use of tourism infrastructure to exploit minors sexually, whether physically or digitally. This encompasses online grooming, sexting, sexual extortion, and any act that deprives minors of their dignity and safety.
Our goal at Mega Travel Machupicchu is to promote safe, ethical, and responsible tourism that protects the dignity of the Cusco community and the youth of Peru.
