We begin this great adventure with a hotel pickup at 08:00 a.m. to head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, following the Vilcanota River.
Our first destination is Pisac. We will drive up to the Archaeological Park on the mountain to see the impressive agricultural terraces and Inca cemeteries. Afterward, we descend to the town to visit the famous Pisac Artisan Market, perfect for browsing colorful textiles, jewelry, and souvenirs.
Next, we travel through the valley to the town of Urubamba, where we will stop for a delicious Buffet Lunch featuring local Andean cuisine and international options to recharge our energy.
In the afternoon, we visit the Archaeological Complex of Ollantaytambo, a colossal fortress that served as a checkpoint and religious center. It is one of the only places where the Incas successfully resisted the Spanish conquest. You will also explore the streets of the "Living Inca City."
On our way back to Cusco, we make our final stop in Chinchero, famous for its traditional weavers, colonial church, and Inca terraces. We will arrive back in Cusco around 6:00 p.m. (18:00), dropping you off near the city center.
